Aluminium Hydroxide SH-M08

Aluminum hydroxide is the most widely used inorganic flame retardant in the world. At around 200°C, it starts to decompose to aluminium oxide (which forms a protective, non-flammable char layer on the material surface) and water. The protective char layer provides thermal insulation and adsorbs smoke particles reducing smoke density. It is also an extender and bodying agent in adhesives.
