TAFIGEL® PUR 40

TAFIGEL® PUR 40 by Munzing is a non-ionic, VOC-free polyurethane. Used as rheology modifier and associative thickener in aqueous adhesive systems. It builds up and stabilizes viscosity by forming a network between PU, binder molecules and pigment particles. It can be used alone or in combination with other TAFIGEL thickeners.

Exhibits good flow, leveling and gloss, very good color acceptance on tinting. Offers thickening independent of pH, excellent brush handling and good spatter resistance.
Normal dosage of TAFIGEL® PUR 40 ranges from 0.3-2%.
It has a shelf life of 15 months.
