TAFIGEL® PUR 65

Polyurethane in butyltriglycol/water. Acts as an associative thickener/viscosity stabilizing rheology modifier. Provides strong pseudo-plastic rheological profile with excellent shear thinning characteristics. Possesses high sag resistance, good flow and leveling and gloss and can be used over a wide pH range. It is non-ionic, APE-, VOC- and organotin free and can be used alone or in combination with other thickeners. The performance of thickener is affected by the interactions with binder type, co-solvents, coalescing agents, surfactants/wetting agents, pigments and flattening agents. Recommended for use in aqueous systems for adhesives and putties.
