Actmix® TMTD-80GE F140 is a tetramethylthiuram disulfide. It is a primary accelerator with sulfur, a secondary accelerator with thiazoles and a vulcanizator in sulfurless vulcanization. It contains 20wt% EPDM/EVM polymer binder and dispersing agent. It almost does not affect degree of cross-linking but delay vulcanization: only lowers scorching rate and extends total vulcanization time if thiols or sulfenamides is added in. Provides excellent heat-proof aging properties for vulcanizates. It is compatible with NBR, SBR, natural- and synthetic rubber. Its addition level for primary accelerator is 0.1-1.0 phr with 1-3 phr sulfur and for sulfur less heat-resistant rubber compounds: 2.5-4 phr with 0.5 phr MBT.
