Alcogum® 6940

Sodium polyacrylate. Acts as a rheology modifier. Provides stable viscosity over a broad pH range. Offers resistance to biological degradation. Used to thicken styrene-butadiene, acrylonitrile, butadiene, neoprene, acrylic, vinyl acetate and ethylene-vinyl acetate latex compounds. Suitable for natural and synthetic latexes for a wide variety of applications. Applicable for non-wovens, adhesive formulations and carpet backing.
