CAT-53 by Avantor is a platinum-divinyltetramethylsiloxane complex in a functional diphenyl copolymer. Acts as a reactive phenyl platinum catalyst. It is incompatible with strong acids, strong bases and strong oxidizers. Suitable for curing silicone polymer systems to form adhesives and sealants. CAT-53 is designed for optically clear, high refractive index silicone elastomer systems. Complies with TSCA inventory.
