PPA - 7040

Phenalkamine. Acts as a mannich base epoxy hardener or curing agent. It is a reaction product of distilled cashew nutshell liquid and polyamines. Very good compatibility with epoxy resin based on bis - phenol A, bis - phenol F as well as novolacs and also with the most of the organic solvents as well as their combinations. Offers excellent rapid cure even at low temperatures, good adhesion to mechanically cleaned surfaces, excellent curing under humid as well as damp conditions and superior corrosion resistance. Also has a very good flexibility, workable pot life, low viscosity, non critical mixing ratios and good chemical, solvent as well as water resistance.
