Masurf® FS-2620

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Pilot Chemical
Masurf® FS-2620 by Pilot Chemical is characterized as a 20% active C6-based fluoroaliphatic sodium sulfonate fluorosurfactant in a water/hexyleneglycol solution. It is a superior surface tension and interfacial tension reduction agent for wetting and leveling performance unobtainable with silicone, acetylenic or traditional hydrocarbon surfactants. Masurf® FS-2620 is stable in non-ionic and anionic systems and less hard water sensitive than competitive materials. It is used in adhesives. It is consistent with the goals of the voluntary U.S. EPA 2010/15 PFOA Stewardship Program. It is effective at very low concentrations, typically 50-500 ppm, and can act synergistically with hydrocarbon and/or silicone surfactants. It is pre-registered in REACH. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, EINECS, ECL, TSCA and New Zealand Inventory. It has a shelf life of 5 years.
