Pentalyn® G

Pentalyn® G by Pinova is a maleic-modified pentaerythritol ester of rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a hard, pale amber, thermoplastic resin. It is soluble in aliphatic hydrocarbon resin. Offers excellent pigment wetting, good solubility & compatibility, good color retention, high gloss and adhesion. Pentalyn® G is used in adhesives, particularly rubber-based solvent cements where high bonding strength, but minimal dry tack, is desired.
