AXCIDE BIT-20 by Planet Chemicals is a 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one grade. This grade is a low-toxicity biocide prepared in propylene glycol/glycerine solution for protection against microorganisms in wet state. AXCIDE BIT-20 is suitable for use in adhesives. It is stable over a wide pH range of 4 - 12. It can be easily formulated into many products as it is miscible with water in any ratio. It has a good thermal stability and low volatility. It can be added at a very early phase in the production process without affecting the active content during the higher temperature processes.
