1, 2-Bis (triethoxysilyl) ethane or Hexaethoxydisilethylene. It acts as crosslinking agent and adhesion promoter. It contains two silyl groups which enable it to have better adhesion and weather resistance. Its enhanced crosslinking leads to better barrier properties in anti-corrosion applications. It can be used to improve the adhesion of room temperature vulcanizing silicone sealants to dry or wet surface.
