SiSiB® PC7920 SILANE

Dimethyldiacetoxysilane. It acts as crosslinking agent. It is a clear to yellowish liquid with acrid odor of acetic acid (vinegar) and readily hydrolyses in the presence of moisture. Acetoxy silane is more reactive than alkoxysilane that is why it is frequently used as one-component mixture to make RTV-1 silicone sealants.
