PRS® -A2110 (Super Grade)

Refined C5 aliphatic hydrocarbon resin. Acts as a tackifier. PRS® -A2110 (Super Grade) is light colored as well low volatility material. It has an excellent compatibility with a wide variety of elastomers including natural rubber (NR), synthetic rubber, ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and styrenic block copolymer such as SIS, SBS, SEBS as well as SEPS. Also has a good compatibility with the natural tackifying resins such as terpene, rosin and thereof derivatives. This C5 petroleum resin is gradually replacing the natural resin tackifier such as terpene as well as rosin due to its advantages of high deep strength, stable adhesion performance, moderate melting viscosity, high thermal resistance and economic price. Offers super aging resistance performance and good fluidity which can improve the wetting property of master material. Typical applications include hot melt type of pressure-sensitive adhesive or solvent type of pressure-sensitive adhesive.
