C9 aromatic hydrocarbon resin. It acts as a tackifier. It appears as transparent granular or flakes with color ranging from light yellow to dark brown. It has low acid value, easy mutual solubilities, water resistance, good adhesive strength, and low heat conduction. It has applications in hot melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, and contact adhesives.
