C5/C9 Copolymerized Petroleum Hydrocarbon Resin (85-95) by Puyang Tiancheng Chemical acts as an adhesion promoter for hot melt adhesives. It can be used as accelerant, regulator and modifier together with other resins in adhesives. It is obtained from copolymerization of C5 fraction and C9 fraction derived from the by-product of thermal cracking of naphtha. It exhibits good miscibility with water & ethanol, excellent chemical resistance, good chemical stability against acid, low acid value and good adjustment of viscosity & thermal stability. It also exhibits excellent weather resistance, light aging resistance due to non-polar groups in its structure, brittleness and plasticity. It shows good solubility with organic solvents especially oil solvent. C5/C9 Copolymerized Petroleum Hydrocarbon Resin (85-95) provides excellent initial cohesiveness and can be used as rosin resins to improve viscosity durability and strength of mixture of glue and resins.
