KR-516

KR-516 by Shin-Etsu is a 100% active ingredient, alkoxy oligomer type coupling agent. It has a siloxane backbone which reduces generation quantity of alcohol. It contains a large number of reactive functional groups with resins. It is the main chain of the siloxane skeleton. It is partially hydrolyzed condensate. It exhibits film-forming property, good reactivity and low volatility. It offers high durability and strength through adhesion. It possesses good reaction stability and resistant to heat & light. It is capable of achieving hydrophilic treatment on surfaces by choice of organic groups. KR-516 is suitable as additive for adhesives.
