High solid, freeze-thaw stable, solution of ammonium salt of styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer in water. Used as a starch modifier in adhesives to increase water resistance and as an antiblock and an alkali removal component in adhesive systems. Provides very good stability, good film formation and very good sizing against acid penetrants when applied over an acid base sheet.
