Endex™ 155 Hydrocarbon Resin

Endex™ 155 Hydrocarbon Resin by Synthomer is a thermoplastic resin made from purified aromatic hydrocarbon monomers. Acts as a melt flow modifier and heat stabilizer. Possessses pure aromatic monomer composition and very high softening point. It reinforces the styrene end blocks of styrenic block copolymers. Compatible with polystyrene or styrene-containing polymers. Soluble in aliphatic, aromatic, & chlorinated hydrocarbons and esters & ketones. For low or zero VOC systems, it is soluble in the VOC exempt solvents t-butyl acetate (TBA) and perchlorobenzenetetrafluoride (PCBTF) and will tolerate some acetone and/or methyl acetate as a diluent in solvent systems based on TBA and/or PCBTF. Applications include caulks, sealants, hot-melt adhesives, pressure sensitive adhesives, solvent-borne adhesives, tapes and labels.
