Foral™ 85-E

Foral™ 85-E by Synthomer functions as a tackifier. It is a thermoplastic ester resin derived from glycerol and a highly stabilized rosin. Offers excellent resistance to oxidation and discoloration as well as exceptional cutaneous tolerance. Used in caulks, sealants, contact adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, laminating, non-wovens, packaging and pressure sensitive adhesives. Compatible with natural & synthetic rubbers, EVA copolymers, amorphous polyolefins, paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, SBR copolymer, SEBS, SIS and SBS block copolymers. Foral™ 85-E is also suitable for case and carton sealing closings, solvent-borne adhesives, non-food contact tapes and labels.
