Kristalex™ 3115LV

Kristalex™ 3115LV is a water clear, highly color stable thermoplastic hydrocarbon resin by Synthomer. It is non-polar, low molecular weight resin with low organic volatile content. It can be used in non-wovens and pressure sensitive- & solvent-borne adhesives, tapes and labels. It is compatible with waxes & alkyds, SIS, SBS and SEBS copolymers, neoprene, nitrile, polybutadiene, acrylic polymers, chlorinated rubber, styrenated alkyds, vinylated alkyds, drying oil alkyds and rosin ester resins. It is suitable for styrenic block copolymer based adhesives that provides high room temperature cohesion without affecting tack and adhesion properties. Exhibits excellent thermal stability and intermediate softening point. It is based on purified 8-9 carbon aromatic monomers. It is recommended for assembly, automotive building & construction, caulks & sealants, hot melt adhesives and laminating. It is compatible with EVA grades with up to 18% vinyl acetate which is useful in formulating low-color hot-melt adhesives with good low temperature properties. Kristalex™ 3115LV complies with many FDA regulations for applications involving direct contact with food.
