Metalyn™ 200

Metalyn™ 200 is a tackifier by Synthomer. It is a resinous plasticizer derived from rosin. Exhibits low vapor pressure, excellent surface wetting and adhesion properties. It is alcohol-soluble and is compatible & miscible with a wide variety of materials. Used in contact adhesives, hot-melt and pressure sensitive adhesives, solvent- and water-borne adhesives. Suitable for bookbinding, case & carton sealing closings, non food contact pakcaging tapes and labels. Compatible with nitrocellulose, EVA copolymers, natural & synthetic resins and rubbers, asphalt, waxes and chlorinated rubber. It is also compatible with PVC, vinyl acetate-chloride copolymers, polyvinyl ethers, water-soluble film-formers such as casein and starch. Metalyn™ 200 is incompatible with cellulose acetate.
