Regalite™ UltraPure 5100

Regalite™ UltraPure 5100 by Synthomer is a unique partially hydrogenated, light-colored, low odor, water-white hydrocarbon resin. It acts as an excellent tackifier in hot melt adhesives based on SIS and SBS block copolymers, where it provides superior room temperature cohesion combined with very low adhesive viscosity. It contains low targeted volatiles after aging and a stable amount of substances of interest as a function of aging temperature. It offers improved color stability compared to the heritage grade with the same aromatic content and softening point. It provides heat stability, improved resistance to oxidation, low organic volatile content and traces chemicals. It exhibits high polarity and good resistance to thermal degradation. It is compatible with SBS, SIS, SBR, EVA and EBA copolymers. It is used in solvent-borne packaging- and water-borne hygiene adhesives. Regalite™ UltraPure 5100 has a shelf life of 12 months.
