Rosin phenolic resin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a terpene phenolic alternative for improved strength. Has higher softening point and high polarity with excellent polymer compatibility. It enhances adhesion and heat resistance. Used in hot melt, contact, pressure sensitive as well as other adhesives.
