HXA UV-234

2-[2-hydroxy-3,5-di-(1,1-dimethylbenzyl)]-2H-benzotriazole. Acts as ultraviolet light absorber and light stabilizer. It belongs to family of substituted benzotriazoles which protect against ultraviolet radiation. Compared to other UV absorbers, HXA UV-234 has lowest volatility which makes it especially useful for those applications involving high temperature processing. It is most suitable for polymer production where additive losses may occur during high temperature processing.
