2-(3', 5'-di-t-amyl-2') benzotriazole. Acts as ultraviolet light absorber and light stabilizer. It belongs to the hydroxy phenyl benzotriazole class. It’s low volatility and high lipophilicity makes it especially useful where additive losses may occur during high temperature processing. It is used for wide range of polyolefins and cold-cured polyester resin. Has applications in adhesives.
