Refined glycerol ester of gum rosin. Acts as a tackifier. It is a kind of white transparent solid formed by refining rosin and then esterfying it with glycerol. It has advantages of good aging resistance and good intermiscibility with high polymer material. It has light color, low odor, good heat stability and good oxidation resistance. It can be blended with EVA, SIS, SBS, NR, CR, SBR and some other high polymers, at any ratio. It can be used in solvent adhesive, hot-melt adhesive and pressure-sensitive adhesive, to improve their adhesive power.
