Mergal® K15

Mergal® K15 by Troy Corporation (Arxada) is an in-can preservative and a bactericide in dispersion adhesives and aqueous systems such as acrylate-sealants. It is a formaldehydre-free, chloromethyl and methyl-isothiazolinone-free, heavy metals-free and VOC-free blend of benzo-isothiazolinone lithium salt and N-dodecyl-N'-3-aminopropylglycine. It offers broad action spectrum against bacteria, yeasts and mold fungus and compatibility with water reducible resins and aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers, casein, starch and starch derivatives. Mergal® K15 has a recommended dosage of 2-5%.
