Santicizer® 278 by Valtris Specialty Chemicals is a fast-fusing, high molecular weight alkyl benzyl phthalate plasticizer. It exhibits extremely low moisture, sound dampening benefits, high compatibility and low volatility thus providing good processing characteristics.

It shows resistance to high temperatures, exudation and extractants such as solvents, oils, grease, and other severe-use conditions.
It is used in adhesives, automotive and window sealants.
Santicizer® 278 offers good permanence yet retains the aggressive solvating characteristics of the benzyl esters.
