Citroflex™ A2 by aurorium is an acetyl-triethyl Citrate. Acts as a plasticizer. It is based on natural citric acid raw material, which is mainly derived from the fermentation of corn. Offers formulators a unique combination of environmentally friendly features. It is neither "Volatile Organic Compound" (VOC) nor a "Hazardous Air Pollutant" (HAP) and combines efficient plasticization of polymers with low toxicity, high flash points and rapid biodegradability. Citroflex® A-2 is recommended for use in adhesives.
