GENIOSIL® GF 31

GENIOSIL® GF 31 by Wacker is an organofunctional 3- Methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane. It leads to improved mechanical properties and enhanced substrate adhesion. Used as a co-monomer for moisture-curing (meth)acrylic copolymers that cure via silanol groups, in treatment of fillers. Improves mechanical properties of acrylic and butyl polymers, polyesters, polyethers and polyolefins. GENIOSIL® GF 31 is used as a component of free-radical curable adhesive and sealants. It produces binders that exhibit much improved wet scrub, abrasion and scratch resistance.
