GENIOSIL® GF 39

GENIOSIL® GF 39 by Wacker is 3-Methacryloxypropyltriacetoxysilane. Acts as a bifunctional curing agent and an adhesion promoter. It can be free-radically polymerized or incorporated into organic polymers. As a bifunctional, organically unsaturated molecule, GENIOSIL® GF 39 is able to function as a molecular bridge between inorganic and organic substrates.

Used in UV and acetoxy-curing silicone sealants.
It is a clear, slightly yellowish, corrosive liquid that is sensitive to light and heat with characteristic vinegar-like odor.
