Polyglykol® A 32/550

Polyglykol® A 32/550 by Clariant is a hygroscopic polyalkylene glycol monoallyl ether. It is a high molecular alcohol with an allylic function and shows typical chemical reactions of alcohols as well as of the allylic group.

• It exhibits low sodium, low water content and narrow molecular weight distribution.
• It offers increased hydrophilic properties and improved compatibility or even solubility of the end products with water.
• It is a clear, yellowish liquid at room temperature.
• It is neutral and soluble in water & commonly used organic solvents like acetone or methanol.
• Polyglykol® A 32/550 contains less than 10 ppm residual alkali ions and is therefore suitable for polyurethane, platinum catalyzed hydrosilation reactions and radical reactions or radical polymerization reactions.
