ARCOL® PPG-425

ARCOL® PPG-425 by Covestro is a polyether polyol. It is a 425-molecular-weight polypropylene glycol. The terminal end-groups are predominantly secondary hydroxyls and have a relatively low reactivity. It is compatible with some polyether polyols and can be blended with other diols or triols to achieve desirable modifications of product properties. It is acidified with a low level of phosphoric acid, making it suitable for use in isocyanate-terminated prepolymers. Used in high-modulus adhesives. It is slightly hygroscopic and may absorb water. This polyol can become quite viscous at low temperatures. Shelf life of ARCOL® PPG-425 is 12 months.
