SYNTHOMER™ AAEM

SYNTHOMER™ AAEM by Synthomer is a methacrylic monomer. Provides improved adhesion to metal substrates, outstanding flexibility and corrosion resistance. Possesses the ability to react with amines and hydrazides. Shows resin viscosity reduction for lower VOC emissions and room temperature cure. Used in UV-cure applications, self-crosslinkable acrylic emulsions and acetoacetylated polymers cross-linked through chelation with metal ions. Application includes adhesive polymers. SYNTHOMER™ AAEM complies with TSCA, DSL, AICS/ NICNAS, MITI, ECL, PICCS and IECSC.
