DMBPC by Excel Industries is 1,1-Bis(4-hydroxy-3-methyl phenyl) cyclohexane. Its aromatic character and rigid cyclic structure provide a high moisture barrier and thermal resistance.

It is compatible with polyesters and epoxy resins.
DMBPC is used in the application of scratch-resistant top coats or precoats.
