TEROL® 649

TEROL® 649 by Huntsman Advanced Materials is a high aromatic content, high functionality polyester polyo. Contains rapidly renewable content. It is recommended for use in polyurethane (PUR) systems which require a fire test rating, particularly in systems using a 3.0 or 4.0 generation blowing agent. Provides improved fire performance, low equivalent weight and improved pentane solubility. TEROL® 649 can be formulated at high loadings, reducing the need for brominated flame retardants and also reducing the amount of polyether polyols necessary.
