TERATE® HT 4020 by Stepan Company is an aromatic polyester specifically used in polyurethane (PUR) closed-cell spray foams. It delivers burn performance in industry testing, forming char with minimum shrinkage and high weight retention. TERATE® HT 4020 improves ease of processing during rigid foam production and cold adhesion for spray applications. Recommended use level in spray foams formulation is 35-65% in the B-side polyol blends.
