EMPEYOL F 6080/ 2F 6080 by Manali Petrochemicals is an EO/PO block copolymer triol. It is manufactured by ethoxylation or propoxylation of a polyhydric alcohol in the presence of a catalyst. The polyhydric alcohols used are ethylene glycol, di-propylene glycol, di-ethylene glycol, and glycerol. Sucrose is also used as polyhydric alcohol in the preparation of polyether polyols for the production of polyurethane foam.
