Vercet™ L100 by NatureWorks is 3,6-dimethyl-1,4-dioxane-2,5-dione. It is a high-purity L-lactide derived from bio-based feedstock. Hotmelt adhesives made from utilizing Vercet™ L100 offers a tunable work life, excellent adhesion as well as low dispensing temperatures for food packaging, paper, fiber board and wood applications. It is useful for the synthesis of polymers, copolymers and grafted substrates. It is also useful as reactive chemical intermediates for other synthesis and manufacturing purposes.
