CD 421A by Sartomer (Arkema Group) is a low viscosity, monofunctional monomer, 3,3,5 Trimethylcyclohexyl methacrylate. It contains a light stable cyclic group with lower volatility and lower odor compared to cyclohexyl methacrylate. Possesses improved thermal stability, excellent solvency characteristics and good adhesion to a variety of substrates. Offers good hardness, weatherability, high impact strength and low shrinkage. Provides good chemical-, heat-, water- and abrasion resistance. Suggested applications include anaerobic, structural, and anchor bolt adhesives. CD 421A complies with AICS, IECSC, NZIoC, EINECS and ECL.
