SR 550

Methoxy polyethylene glycol (350) monomethacrylate. It is a mono-functional monomer. Recommended as a versatile chemical intermediate for polymer modification. It features an excellent wetting, water solubility, low Tg, and fast surface cure. SR550 exhibits good adhesion, high flexibility and low shrinkage. It does not support high temperatures, localized heat sources (drum or band heaters), oxidizing conditions, freezing conditions, direct sunlight, ultraviolet radiation, and inert gas blanketing. Possesses an incompatibility with strong oxidizers, strong reducers, free radical initiators, inert gases, and oxygen scavengers.
