KarenzMOI™ by SHOWA DENKO is 2-isocyanatoethyl methacrylate. It can copolymerizes with various types of monomers and shows similar reactivity as aromatic isocyanate. NCO reactive polymers (oligomers) and monomers with pendant methacryloyl group can be easily synthesized. It is used in electronics as solder resist, film resist, printing(printing plate, proof) medical care (soft contact lenses, dental material), textile lumber paper (surface treatment), automobiles(top coat, coating for repair, coating for parts), household electric appliances(substrate, insulating Material), construction materials(cement primer, paint, adhesive).
