SP-103 Resin

SP-103 Resin (Old name: AKROCHEM® P-109) by Akrochem is a modified alkylphenol-formaldehyde resin-based tackifier used in making polychloroprene contact cement. It is light in color and has the ability to extend open time without affecting other properties of the finished adhesives. It is also suitable in the formulation of adhesives with NBR, SBR, natural- and reclaimed rubbers. In polychloroprene cement, it extends tack life, increases the specific adhesion of the film to metal and glass, and enhances the cohesive strength of the adhesive film. SP-103 Resin shows compatibility with NBR and polychloroprene.
