Synolite™ 6494-U-2

Synolite™ 6494-U-2 by AOC is unsaturated polyester based on DCPD pre-accelerated with polymeric amines. Used as a versatile putty resin in the manufacture of car body fillers and putties for benzoyl peroxide cure. Possesses medium viscosity and high reactivity. Provides very good dry sandability and very good storage stability. Accepts high filler loads. Shows very good adhesion to various substrates, including mild steel, galvanized steel, aluminium, and polyester. Synolite™ 6494-U-2 can be used in combination with extenders such as talc, dolomite/calcite, crystalline chalk and barytes with a low iron content.
