Nanostrength® M53 by Arkema is a high molecular weight, transparent central block of poly (butyl acrylate) surrounded by two poly (methyl methacrylate) blocks. It is a self-assembling block co-polymer. It possesses standard polarity with medium soft phase content. It offers improved impact strength, high rigidity, modulus, glass transition temperature (Tg), chemical resistance, fatigue resistance, lap shear and transparency. It provides best toughening with PMMA friendly crosslinking agents like jeffamine and MDEA. Nanostrength® M53 shows compatibility with DGEBA resin.
