TUFTEC™ H1221

TUFTEC™ H1221 by Asahi Kasei is a hydrogenated styrene ethylene butadiene styrene (SEBS) thermoplastic elastomer. It is used as a sealant component.

It is specially designed as a modifier to increase the flexibility of polypropylene (PP).
Exhibits excellent resistance to hazing or whitening on bending.
Offers softness and is a compatibilizer.
It is recommended as a base polymer for SEBS molding compounds.
Suitable for the use of an adhesive layer of protective films with hot melt and pressure-sensitive characteristics.
TUFTEC™ H1221 meets USP Class VI standards and FDA 21 CFR FCN821.
