Acronal® DS 3502

Acronal® DS 3502 by BASF is an aqueous dispersion of an acrylic copolymer. Used in the manufacture of adhesives for packaging applications. It can be added to polyurethane dispersions (Luphen® D types) up to 30% to reduce their heat activation temperature without significantly affecting their heat resistance. Acoustic compounds formulated with Acronal® DS 3502 display maximum noise suppression in the 10–20°C range.
