Silcolease® Emulsion 70840

Silcolease® Emulsion 70840 by Elkem Silicones is silicone emulsion. It cures fastly by a polyaddition reaction in the presence of an organic tin compound. Exhibits little foaming on processing, high catalyzed bath stability, good compatibility with the usual film-forming thickening agents and on-reel post curing. It is relatively insensitive to organic inhibitors. Suitable for use in manufacturing adhesives for protectors (labels, personal care, envelopes) and industrial uses (transfer paper tapes). Silcolease® Emulsion 70840 is used in association with the catalyst Silcolease® Emulsion catalyst 70827 A and, if necessary a release control additive, Silcolease® Emulsion Crosslinker 71806.
