Ricon® 153

Ricon® 153 by Cray Valley (TotalEnergies) is low molecular weight, liquid polybutadiene resin. It is a type II coagent with high vinyl functionality affecting the state of cure, but not the rate of cure in peroxide-cure systems. Compatible with saturated and unsaturated elastomers and olefins. Contains 100 ppm of 2, 6 di-tertiary-butyl-4methylphenol as an antioxidant. Has high reactivity, electrical insulative properties, improved crosslink density, excellent hydrophobicity, low molecular weight, good compression set, hardness and modulus. It is scorch retarding and improves processability, heat resistance, chemical resistance, elongation and ozone resistance.
