Daotan® VTW 1227/40WA

Aqueous, hydroxy functional, aliphatic polyurethane dispersion. Possesses very low solvent content. Provides quick drying, quick hardness development, very good durability and weatherability, good flow and leveling, high gloss, very good stability and superior mar and scratch resistance. Offers chemical and abrasion resistance, flexibility, hardness, shear stability and good pigment compatibility. Gives very good adhesion to metal and wood substrates, to cement substrates and epoxy topcoats and primers, and very good adhesion to polyamide, rigid PVC, ABS and pre-treated PP/EPDM. Can be reacted with isocyanates or water reducible melamines. Gives systems with higher film hardness. Can be used in combination with other compatible binders like acrylic emulsions to improve flexibility, adhesion and durability.
